We have a first request to export a Softplan project for engineering in CAD.

We have sent PDF files to engineers but not CAD. How have others experiences

been exporting projects for CAD use? We have no experience in the CAD world

only the BIM. Thanks

Simplify things as much as you can. I will do a 'save as' for my different plans in order to get rid of as much as I can. I will go into the wall definition and turn off the shading as well. I've also used the "convert to shapes" method for the walls to but there is just a bit more clean up to do with that method. The engineer basically only cares about the roof, walls, floors, foundation and openings. Get rid of everything else. Shoot me a message if I can be of any assistance. Happy to help
