Hey all. Anyone use SoftPlan to create a drawing for CNC router? I created a drawing and exported as .dxf but have a couple issues. One is adding an X,Y axis and the other finding some broken lines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I too want to do some cnc in the near future and was going to give SP a try, however, I figured that it is probably going to be best to use a generic type of cad for this.  I am sure there a number of inexpensive cads for this purpose.

Good day, I have moved a few drawings from SoftPlan in to Vectric using PDF for routing, as SoftPlan is so much easier to draw with than Vectric. But as you will need a post processor to create the machine controller files Vectric of some other router program will be required. I have sent a few drawings from SoftPlan via Vectric to a laser and it works fine.

All good fun.

Jon
