Hello,

As Nvidia's new 3000 series cards are coming out RTX rendering cores are getting more and more obtainable. As I am building my own computer in the near future with one of these new graphics cards I was wondering if Softplan would ever have a method to render scenes using Nvidia's "RT Cores" on their graphics cards with ray tracing.

I ended up installing a lower series card as a placeholder with the intent to move it to another pc whenever I can get my hands on a 3060/70. I would have hoped to have acquire on by now but they're the hottest thing since sliced bread it seems. Sellout in 5 min or less. Looking forward to creating some razzle-dazzle in 2022 though!

good luck purchasing an RTX card for reasonable price anytime soon, building pcs is the approach i usually take every 4-5 years.  i ended up purchasing an Alienware PC from DELL a few weeks back which had the RTX3080.

Hi Joseph - is it all what it's hyped to be? My son is a gamer (built my PC) and is in eager anticipation himself. Apparently it is the shizz in their world.

I have an RTX 3070 in my machine and renders are smoking fast.  I do textured mode animations all the time for my clients and what used to take 5-10 minutes to produce now takes 1-2.
