Hi,

I have set up my window catalogue items and have been testing various configurations and how they appear on the window schedule. One thing I noticed is that if I add a transom over a window I lose the hinging information. For example if the catalogue item has "LNR" hinging prior to adding the transom the window schedule shows "N/A" after I add the transom. Is this the norm or did I miss something? Or do I have to create a new library item for windows with transoms?

I just tried creating a separate library item and the hinging still comes up as "N/A".

I am not sure about windows but it does do that in doors.  I put the swing type into the door such as  "3068 LH w 12 TRANS"  That is how it would read in my product code. Might need to do similar.

Yes, unfortunately, you have to create a lot of symbols. For doors, I don't need to identify the hinge side in my schedules but have to create symbols for doors hinged on both side because when reversing a plan, the door won't reverse if it as a sidelight and/or transom. I have to remember to alternate when reversing. Hopefully, it has been dealt with in Softplan 2016

At least I can go back and edit the table cells easily. I will just have to make sure I double check the outputs from the opening schedule.
