Do any of you take credit card payments for your drawings?  If so, what do you use for a service (or whatever it would be called)?

I just recently had a client that has asked me about this.  I usually try to push them to PayPal, but this client does not have an account...

It would also be nice, I guess, to be able to take credit card payments in person as well...

I use Square. Fees are never fun, but it's nice to offer.

I've done credit cards for almost 10 years.  My service is gopayment through quick books.  I raised my rates when starting to take credit cards and then offer a discount for cash payments.

Sam, a curiosity question if you don't mind.  What is the percentage split of those who pay with cc and those by cash type?  I have been asked a few times if I take other forms of payment, and I have resisted this far.  I get paid by check in all cases.  These days the banks will cut a check and mail it for you, as least most (large) banks do. I do have to wait because the plans are given by email and I wait for the mailing of the check, but these are chiefly repeat clients and I don't have problems there.

Zelle or Venmo whenever possible. I don't like waiting for checks.

Kevin,

I just looked over my spreadsheet where I track all my projects.  Out of the last 20 projects completed, 7 paid with cash (10% discount), 7 paid with a credit card, and 6 paid with a check.
