Multiple Textures on a Gable End

My customers often want multiple textures...Different types of siding in the gable end of a house.  I have learned ways around this but would appreciate it if Softplan could come up with an easy or somewhat easier way to accomplish this.  Just my thoughts.

Have you tried changing the siding on your gables to a different siding type (siding #2) than what you have on the rest of the house? (Siding #1)

I think he is referring to multiple textures on the same gable/wall.  Needs a split so that it comes out on rendering.  It is no problem with a paint fill on a line drawing elevation.

Strictly for 3D you could Fit Wall to Roof. Then add wallcoverings in Interior mode. Edit offsets.

For multiple textures I like to use 3d shapes and planes - limitless.
