I work for a small custom home builder. We are looking for a Architect / Engineer with a NYS Stamp that could produce drawings in Softplan
Being local to the WNY for in person meetings is a must - my boss would sit down and had over completed layouts in person for the architect to do elevations, sections and produce final stamped drawings. The architect would not have to meet with customers, and would have several plans monthly to draft in a flexible time schedule.
We currently have a local Architect that we work with as an independent contractor, and are looking to add another as we get 10-20 sales leads a month of people looking for plans and new home quotes...
I have an extensive IT background, and lately I have have been doing some of the main floor plan layouts in SP 2020 and I would like send off the started file so as to take some work off the architect's plate so to speak in finishing the drawings. This would happen on some or all of the plans you'd get - your call.
Just to reiterate - unfortunately we do not have any interest in someone from out of town. I was part of a network and email team for a fortune 100 company for quite a while - I know pretty much anything can be done remotely these days, its just not an option for us.
