I am creating live interior elevations but when I open up the interior elevation my range hood is missing,  It shows in 3D and it says that it should show in model.  All the layers and options are default for it so I am confused on why it doesn't show.  The same also goes for cooktop.

Go to "Drawing Options" - "Drawing Library". Find your symbol for the range hood and then edit the symbol. Now make sure that the "Interior Elevation" is enable in the lower right hand corner.

You might want to check it's offset too. it may be in the base cabinet.

Thanks Phillip.  That was it.  I never knew that item was there.  Always good to learn new things.

And I don't think you should have to go to any other place to turn something off or on. Should be able to click on any item in plan, elevation, 3D or whatever and have the option to turn on or off right there in the edit dialogue box. Shouldn't be so freaking complicated go here and there for the simplest of things.

Agree with Gary. This is absurd.

Glad you got it sorted Tom.

Edit the Symbol > select Definition > from the Extract In group check Interior Elevation.

So glad the definition edit button got added in the symbol edit menu. That has saved me tons of time.
