Doing a covered deck with a parachord truss vault

I’ve added the roof , added the ceiling sloping from both sides

how do I get rid of the gable siding and the gable end of the ceiling?

looked through the forums But can’t find any references to exterior vaults

thanks

Did you try unchecking gable wall supplied by roof.

Edge edit the ceiling and change that edge to gable. If it has a solid end at the moment its a vertical hip.

Yes, that worked ok, just clearing the ceiling gable was the issue

Thanks Keith, that was it. I wasn’t editing the edge.

Personally, with a parallel chord roof, I normally add 2 ceilings in the same place ... One as thick as the parallel chord to give the exterior finish, and then a standard exterior soffit finish below that to show the ceiling finish.

I’ll give that a try

I used 2 walls top set to roof and raked bottoms to finish off the chord gable

I never thought I could change the ceiling thickness.  Lol
