When you do that it adds a mull to each window. I guess you could make a mull out of  a polygon, make it solid with no frames and create the arch at the top.

Richard I had the same outcome in your second post on my window. I ended up leaving the 3 vertical pieces as separate units and adding exterior trim to the exact width of the mull so that it looked nice enough in the 3D model. Unless I am zoomed in on it really close, you cant tell that the spaces between are trim instead of mulls.

I made some solid polygons 5" wide. It worked great.

It would be nice if we had more options with openings!

Yes it would. I would like to see Prairie Grills for arched or circle top windows. Also on the windows that you posted be able the adjust the horizontal spacing on the grilles so that they line up with each other.

I really appreciate your post  using the polygon method. I didn't even notice it was there and I can't find anything on it in help.

Rick

You can make the grilles do anything you want by drawing them, and using the CUSTOM grille option in the edit menu.

Keith, I realize you can draw the grilles. The Custom option is only available when you draw a custom grille. The attached opening has a prairie grille that I made, but you can't edit it. To me its another workaround. I have 25 support ticket that were supposed to be forwarded to the development team.

Maybe 2022 will bring some welcome upgrades.

I freehand little line segments to follow the arch for the head, a tight zoom while working, its impossible to tell and very fast.

David you can offset the vertical lines 6" or so, then you can unlock your cursor with the snap on and snap to each of the intersections at the top of your opening until you close the polygon.
