I have enjoyed importing PDF pages, especially when my engineer provides full sheets that I want to incorporate into my planset. However, after completing that task, I've closed the planset page and upon re-opening the page, the PDF no longer is visible.

What happened?!

Hi Michael,

You could have a look at the Visible Items and make sure the images tab is ticked. This sometimes happens to me.

It’s under the “Review” button.

File
Review
Import PDF as shapes, etc.
It works ‘most’ of the time......

This has been a problem for us over the past two month. We import a pdf plan, often an architect or some other formal plan. Onto its own plan which we often add as a multi drawing to view like an overlay. This method keeps file sizes uploaded smaller since the pdf plans don’t change keeping the actual plan much smaller than when we used to keep these pdf imports on layers or building options.

In any case they often disappear randomly. We’ve reported it a few times. Surprisingly more than once it’s appeared again under electrical though it was not imported that way.

It keeps happening it is not resolved.

Think you need to turn PDF Layers on I believe in one of 2 places   default layers or Options-Visible items-layers-PDF layers

I have recently been having the same problem.

It is not layers.

If you open the .pdf in a browser it will show, but not in Adobe.

I reported it to tech & they said it would be escalated to the next level.
