I know that in years past I have attended the International Builder's Show and been able to go to the SoftPlan booth to see a preview of the upcoming version and features.

Now with the IBS going virtual this year, I was curious if there is any information being posted about the next version?

I have not seen anything around yet but I am not always checking online.

I was wondering the same. Have seen a 2022 coming soon on the SP website, then it's gone. No booth access on the IBSx platform, so can't find anything there. Very curious.

I just checked and the new forum for our current version 2020 was launched on March 6th of 2019. I believe the hints of what was coming in this version started a couple of weeks before that. Hopefully should be any day now?!!

Funny how the mods are so quick to chime in on certain things on this forum, but when you're digging for info about new releases you can hear a pin drop :)  Really though, it's nice to have a software company that interacts with/listens to its users as much as the Softplan staff does.

Virtual IBS? Sheesh... where's the fun in that... :(

Reminds of the time I went to the show and went up to the SoftPlan booth and pretended I had never heard of this program and asked how fast could a person learn to use their program... the sales lady gave me a quick demo and then I asked if I could try it...  :)

Why is it asking for a password the look at 2022's new features?

Seems like we could look at it. I thought it was odd to have a patch (2020.2.9) this late in the game. It may have been they had problems with they tried to upgrade to the new 2022.

Most likely for the Beta testers

Or, internal use at this point. Will see what they release in the next few weeks. At least we can see they are preparing!

I hope they fix all of the support tickets they had to send to their development team for further review.
