Good Morning - how do I change my settings so that after I draw some walls my house isn't floating up in the sky in 3D textured view?

go to options, & background, & turn on auto horizon

When in 3D mode you can select "Options" then "Setup options" and check "Auto Horizon" that should give you some grass under the house.

 

Once you put a slab in house you will see the slab.           Sometimes, depending, the grass will be in the wrong place, and the Offset needs to be checked and adjusted.

 

Or if you want a white back ground, forget the above and select "Mode Options" then "Background" and select or check color and use white or whatever color you want.
