I would like plinth blocks on both sides of the interior door.  However, one side of the interior door is actually the "exterior" side and does not have a selection for plinths....Am I missing something?

It depends on the wall: If the wall definition is not symmetrical, Softplan may assume it has an exterior and an interior. Does the door do the same in a standard drywall/stud/drywall partition?

Yes it does.  Standard interior wall of drywall/stud/drywall.

Do you have it defined as a bearing wall if so the outside of the wall would act like a exterior wall

If you edit the opening and it has a tab for exterior trim then its a exterior wall or you have bearing checked on one or more of the materials in the wall definition, or you have a wall like Keith said.

If your wall has a different types of drywall on each side of the wall, like drywall A on one side, then drywall B or drywall C on the other, it will also act like a exterior wall.

Ahh ... yes, bearing walls are assumed to be exterior walls. Never did figure out why that's the case.

That's another thing for the list of upgrades - interior bearing walls! We ought to be able to have both bearing and interior trim on both sides. Of course trim could use a major overhaul in my opinion too. Looking forward to seeing what they've come up with for 2022.
