visible foundation below grade on elevations

I assumed that when I generated an elevation in "annotated" mode I could eliminate lines that I did not want shown on my construction drawings. 

I don't want to see the foundation below the grade line. Is this possible?

One way is you can crop the bottom of the drawing in the plan set.

This is where a crop polygon or spline (or any shape) would be most helpful.

Have you tried masking the unwanted part with a white box?
