Has anyone had any experience with Sewer Grinder Pump for a 2" Forced Main, best Model, how long they last? I haven't decided if I'm going to install it in my 1,500 gallon septic tank or a separate 100- 200 gal fiberglass tank.  I'm looking at a Myers VRS20A21 pump.

Thanks

Rick

Have you submitted your question to Softplan Technical Support?

Sorry, I didn't explain myself enough. I just wanted to know if anyone had to use a Grinder Pump and what was their experience.

Thanks

Yeah, I thought everyone here is in the construction industry so someone would have some experience with one.

Your best bet is to chat with a local Mech Engineer or even a local municpal waste/sewage utility dept and get their input....lift pumps can be very tricky and expensive ....a lot of due dillagence is required for a proper installation....thus contact a real professional who has lots of experience in this....

That’s what I think I’m going to do. The pump probably won’t run as often
