Is there anyone here on the forums that uses a secondary software to create realistic renderings after modeling a home in SoftPlan? We are looking to potentially purchase a software for this purpose and I would like to get some opinions on which software programs are great for clear, photorealistic renders but is also not over complicated to use. I would like to download a few trial versions to test out and see if it might be worth our time and money, so any suggestions from people here that do this on a regular basis would be greatly appreciated!

I worked with Twinmotion for a bit also, yep very nice.  After considerations I came to the conclusion that SoftPlan output is perfect for my work flow.

I use Lumion - you can't beat the ease of use or the quality that it produces (IMHO).

David - it is pricey, no question.  But, the short learning curve, speed at which very high end renderings can be produced make it pay for itself quickly.  My time is valuable and that is worth a lot (to me).  I recently upgraded and the first project I picked up paid for the software and hardware with a profit left over to live on.
