Good Morning (Edmonton Alberta time)

I recently signed up for softplan and am a bit of a newby.

Im wondering if anyone can help with this.  I can't seem to figure out how to daw overlapping shed roofs for my semi-detached duplex (see attached sketch)

Here is the simple asnwer-

Change all but the low eave to gable. The low sides of the roof should be hip roofs if you trace or auto-roof it and have all your settings for how you want. If you do not get the results you want with 1 roof, draw each side as it's own roof (two boxes). Then do the same edits to all raked and high edges (edit to gable). If you need a saddle between roofs draw that along the red dashed line you ought to see where the two roof sections intersect.

It may be more complicated depending on how your roof works out, but try those methods first. If you need to cut up a section of one or both roofs then you can use a hole or add polygon edges (starts to get a little more complicated depending on the final look you want).
