Is it possible to have a skylight display with a curb? Seems using a solar panel is better for 3d modeling, but it would be nice to have something that can have a frame texture and separate glazing texture.

In 2022 they are better (show a basic frame and glazing). If you want more than that, Velux has great models in SketchUp 3D Warehouse. They can be modified with all sorts of features and sizes. Then you can import them as models to create symbols in SP. If you do not have SketchUp you can at least grab some of the models off the Velux site. If you cut a hole in the roof you need those models to be set the roof pitch. If not, you can have it reference the surface of the roof when stacked and it will automatically slope to the roof.
