When I try to move a window that is near another one, the whole string of windows moves. Why?

When I try to move a window that is near another one, the whole string of windows moves. Why might this be?

 

Does Softplan automatically join them together? This happens even when they are spaced far enough apart 

that there are no studs between,  the "x" that appears.

Go to the edit window and then the Header tab - check exclude from unit openings.

It seems I don't have that as an option?

 

I'm not seeing how to attach an image in this forum either.. :o

First thing I would do is turn off the "attach" command...then move your window.
