I was able to bring in an underlay for my second floor plan, but how can I turn this off?

Thank you

I found this image online,   but I do not have that icon on my softplan,  is this from an earlier version?

Look under file look at the list. If I remember correctly it should be there. What version are you using

I'm using 2022,    in the file list there is an underlay option, but this is to bring in an underlay,

looking to turn an underlay off...

The same button that turns it on will turn it off.

I haven’t upgraded yet so I don’t know. I would think it would be like 2020. Maybe someone who has 2021 will chime in

Salvatore,

The Overlay button is a toggle ON/OFF as others have said (Mine is SHIFT + O - Can't remember if that is standard or I've customized it)..The icon in 2022 is slightly different but is still present.

You can add it to ANY toolbar that you want by going to the arrow on the end of a toolbar and clicking: TOOLBAR OPTIONS > ADD OR REMOVE BUTTONS > CUSTOMIZE > ALL COMMANDS > OVERLAY DRAWING and dragging the COMMAND onto the toolbar at the  location that you desire.

You can also type CTRL + /  to get the current KEYBOARD SHORTCUT COMMAND LIST

And you can go to SYSTEM OPTIONS > KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS AND SOFT TALK COMMANDS and assign/edit whatever KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS that you require.(You can also view the KEYBOARD COMMAND LIST from there).

Ceiling Mode has Multiple Floor Ceiling

Roof Mode has Multiple Floor Roof

These are similar to Overlay but only affect the ceiling or roof mode. If turning off Overlay does not fix your problem try looking at Ceiling Mode and Roof Mode and see if Multiple Floor is turned on.
