SP2018

I want a structure's site plan to show... water, grass and an a parking lot on a 3D "as built".  If I create 3 images with each component at different levels, I can't figure how to define the stop and start of each.  The water is at the edge of the building on 3 sides and parking lot, grass on 1 side.

For example... the water 2' down, parking lot 6'' down and grass 8'' down or something like that.

Thanks,

Mike

You can't use levels ... Create shot points to contour the land.

Thanks Keith...I drew a site polygon with grades around the structure and can't figure how to put water inside of it.  Self admittedly, I have not focused on site plans past auto horizon, some trees and shrubs...basic stuff. I put the site plan in the stack at the bottom and nothing.  I need to work at it some more.  I have gotten a lot of good info from tutourials in the past and can't find something I can use on this.

Try this ...

Create a circle of shot points (or a contour line) at 10'

Inside that another circle at 6'

That should give you a depression.

Then add a site polygon at 8' high. it should go under the 10' circle and over the 6' circle.

Then texture it as water and give it a 30 - 50% opacity ... Adjust to suit.
