When i cut a section and then make edits to a floor plan, it seems like the section does not edit automatically.

 

I'm needing to recut the section and make ma new section file.   It there a way that Soft plan can automatically

update the section without going through this process?

Use the annotated version of a section instead of saving it. You can draw on or add notes and dimensions while in annotated mode of a section or elevation. But, you are limited on what it looks like with what you can adjust in the SoftView settings for the final look.
