When I make my own openings, I use a dashed line for the purpose of glazing but when I use those windows I have the dashed line in my elevations. Can I avoid that?

Why not use a standard casement window uncheck product code edit it to the size you want then click on add product code then it will be in your system for future projects

When you make the window, block copy the bead lines a set distance away from the window. Edit the copied lines and change them to the glazing style then block move the copied lines back to the window. The bead lines will hide them.

Thank you Henry! That works just great.   Richard, this window is 25 x 63 and if I edit that to the right size and display 2 horizontal and 2 vertical sections the section-borders are too wide. This is a Marvin Elevate window with divided lights.

Do you need a wider grille?

A wider grille works well but it has to be done at the project or drawing level and applies to all windows.

I wonder if you could add a building option to the window with a wider grille from the rest of the the windows in the house

The grille width setting is (as far as I'm aware) a global drawing variable, and will affect ALL grilles.

It would be nice if in building options you could select another drawing template so you could make that change or make the grille width editable when you edit the window.
