When I click surface edit, and try to edit the color of my siding, the texture disappears and just shows as a solid color.

This is strange because the display texture button is still clicked...

Any ideas?

Thanks

To change the texture of your siding you need to point it at an image of the siding in the colour you require. Changing just the colour will not work.

Sometimes, you need to change the setting on I believe the depth relief, on the same edit thing I believe under options tab
