Need help with editing site lines.

I sketched the perimeter line and now the builder has found a survey of the site and I tried to edit the existing the sketched lines but the program is not letting me enter the direction?

Any ideas?

Draw a new property polygon, based on the survey and drop it over the site to suit, and delete the old one. At least that's what I'd do.

It doesn't look like you added the original property as a Property line, just a sketched site line. If it was a property line it should edit as a property and give directions. Still think it's easier to redraw it!

I tried all of the above suggestions... still won't give me heading directions.

I am going to reboot the computer and see if that helps.

You also may have to explode the original sketched polygon and then adjust each line per the surveyors coordinates, then move the lines back in contact with each other to reform the polygon. I often find the surveyor's coordinates do not quite connect in one spot and they have to be adjusted a little.

I believe you just need to erase the sketched line and do draw coordinances. Just need to set your north right if you haven't already.
