Hey guys... When the gable wall is provide by roof, how do you get the wall framing to show up in the framing model?

Thanks

If the gable is provided by the roof, wouldn't you expect it to be a sheathed gable truss, and not framed as such?

Do you use a vaulted truss or rake the gable walls to underside of roof sheathing?

guessing you would have to add a wall, offset to the desired height and rake the wall on the ends.

[attachment=7736:Gable wall.pdf][attachment=7736:Gable wall.pdf]Might be easier ways but I would copy the existing gable wall, then offset up to the top of the existing wall

and then fit to roof. You can edit the wall in the definitions menu and remove bottom and top plates if needed.

Hope that helps.
