Hi all - I've been casually trying to learn more about Softlist, but recently have gotten a little more excited about it - I've been tweaking a formula for Corrugated Steel Panels and have gotten SO CLOSE. I love that you can even list in the report which wall the materials go on. Where I'm running stuck is - on my gable ends it lists the number of sheets and my max height only. I understand that's all I'm currently telling it to do with the formula attached - but I can't figure out that next step. Any help is appreciated!

In the SoftList materials list do a search for gable siding.

You will need to copy the formula and change the material in the gable end to a corrugated formula.

When you create a roof with a gabled end you can select the material to assign to the gable.

Whatever material you choose to use will be used in the formula.

There is no material called corrugated in the options for the gable end.

You might selected "aluminum" which is in the list.

Then your formula would bas8ically say "if" material = "Aluminum" then ... use area

Steve, thanks for the response - it made me realize I didn't explain myself well. I'm hoping to be able to list the individual height of each steel panel, starting from the center/max height. I think I could get it using math and the assumption that the max height is centered, that the minimum heights at each end are equal, etc...but I was hoping there was a better way than making that assumption and having it bite me some day.
