Going to "what's new in this release" used to tell you what the patch addressed. which mainly was just interesting.

Now it appears to take you to the place to download the patch.

But seems the patch has made the program startup fast on my machine.

I just updated but didn't pay attention to start up time. I'll have to watch next time and see if it's faster for me.

Did anyone else lose a bunch of system options settings with the latest patch?  All mine reverted back to default instead of what I spent hours setting up when upgrading

I waited months to upgrade in hopes that this kind of crap wouldn't happen.  This may be the last time I upgrade a version of softplan.  I DO NOT have time for this stupid crap

Not sure if it was the patch or not, but I went back to 2020 for now for this reason. Many of my settings didn't transfer to begin with like they used to and then it seems like many I had reset reverted back. I ended up redoing many of my custom libraries to get them back where I want them. Could be the same thing you have experienced. These things, and the constantly changing icons with each upgrade have me feeling the same way, Sam.

So far I have not seen any of my system settings get reset. I am not sure if because I always copy and paste base drawings from previous projects or due to some other setting it did not reset for me or why, but I am not running into issues others are experiencing (at least as far as I can tell).
