Hey Randy,
It's Ray here!! Glad to see you are working!! I sent you an email concering the use of a Leica Disto laser tape. I have been using one those since 2005. I have sent an email to tech support about black backgrounds today but I don't see anyone else using one here or at least talking about it.. The black background helps with the eye strain..TREMENDOUSLY sorry for the caps..
