I guess 6+ years is about all the lifespan I can expect out of a plotter getting heavy use? I've put three print heads in my Canon 710 in the last month and have a print head error again last week. Not ready to keep spending money on repairing an old machine so yesterday I got my order in for the new Canon 760 that doubles as a scanner. Made sure to get set up before the end of the year to take advantage of Canon's 0 percent interest 3 year lease.
If the next few years stay as busy as the last few, I expect to wear this new machine out much faster!!!
