Softplan 14 gives you an option to export to DWG or Dxf.

Which would be the best to use so we could send a file to a AutoCad user and they would be able to open and make changes and send it back?

I haven`t had much luck in the pass.

Thanks

All the engineers I work for ask for DWG

Maybe it depends on what version of Cad they are using.

What version to you use to export a DWG? 14 or 2000?

always 2000, unless I'm working with an engineer that has newer.  SP 2016 gives you the option for newer autocad releases now.  My main engineer is still using acad 2000 for all his work

Sam

Thanks for the info.

On another note... are you using SP 2016?

If so did you see any major reason to go from 2014
