Is there a way to ID which Beam is where?

 

I.E.

 

Beam #1 is 8" Steel in Basement

Beam #2 is a 2 ply 1-3/4"X14" LVL is Vault Beam Great Room

Beam #3 is a 3 ply 1-3/4X14" LVL is Kitchen Ceiling Beam

Yes and No, ..

 

You can Edit the Beam Schedule once it's created to read whatever you want, .. click the text fields and overwrite, ..

 

No, .. I don't think this can be defined to be automatic for you.

Softlist can print out per level so it can be identified that way but having it defined per room I don't think is possible. The only thing I could see is that you could edit your beams, select "Definition" and "Save As" and name it as required.
