You can add as many bands as you want. However if you want to use the same profile with a different finish, it has to be saved as another band, but since there are 100 bands it shouldn't be a problem.

I always use a solid plane for that.  It would be nice if you could add a "splash board" to a gable end like you can a wall.  I get asked for this detail frequently.

How do you do more than one banding with different colors/ materials

Keith, I have used the banding as Keith suggests as well as a beam offset as necessary and sized to the appropriate thickness.

Using the beam allowed me the ability to edit the surface easily for color and texture to match other external colors and materials.

Banding. You can add any of the bands on the plan, and adjust their height to suit.

Hi,

I am trying to add to the 3D model a horizontal trim board across the gable end.  I can see the option to add frieze boards under the soffits, but what would you use to add a trim board across the top of wall?
