SP 2018

I imported a survey in dxf format and converted it to a Softplan drawing.  What would be the best way to dimension the converted survey.  My customer wants to build right up to the building restriction line.  I have "known" dimensions on the survey, but don't know how to measure other areas once it becomes a SP drawing.

Thanks,

Mike

In the Site Plan Drawing, click on Tools - Convert Shape to Site Line- Then click on Edit on the tool bar- click on Form Polygon and click on each Property Line to form a Polygon. Make sure your polygon is shaded, if not one or more of your property lines do not intersect. Under Mode Visibilities make sure Show Polygon Shading is checked

Thanks Richard I will give it a try.  I have done very little with site plans and especially converting dxf / dwg files.

...I posted this under the wrong version obviously...for the SP purist I apoligize.

I should say unless you have a pdf of the lot that has a lot of grade lines to import with it. Also I have attached a Direction North tutorial from SoftPlanTuts that makes it a lot easier to position the Lot so that you don't have to rotate the house. You can also find it on the website under Site Tutorials.
