Choose to attend either the two day class that meets for half days or the four day class which is divided into 90 minute sessions each day. What type of video card does SoftPlan require?
We recommend a video card capable of supporting a minimum of DirectX version 10.1. To make sure you have the correct version of the DirectX driver installed, click here. While we do not have a specific minimum RAM requirement, the more memory on the video card, the better your graphics will be. Depending on the card, higher numbers of pixel shaders, vertex shaders, or stream processors will also yield better performance. Note that the video card does not affect the performance of SoftPlan’s Rendering mode.
SoftPlan runs well with the majority of the graphics cards recently released by NVIDIA and ATI.
Whoever the manufacturer of your graphics card, it is important to keep the video driver current. For more information, check the manufacturer’s site.
