Roof Gable with Arch

Before I go ahead and make this custom in 3d. Is there any easy way to manipulate the gable end or a roof for an arch like this?

I would guess that you could use two different roofs to accomplish that.  One for the profile and the other for the gable end.  I do suspect that the portion where the return roof goes into the arched roof that could be tough to do in softplan.  I do think you could get close though.

*note* I haven't tried this but I would make a beam using a wall definition. Then I would use an opening arch and have the roof create the gable.

I did a similar arch in Version 2014 on a hip roof using "trace - hole" and just traced the shape. After cutting the hole you can edit and select add fascia, etc. 

Use a shape to show the outline of where you want to trace the hole.

I tried adding a vertical curve to the beam over the front door but it did not bring the roof with it.

I was able to kinda get it with a gable vent camber opening with top trim but it does not get the roof running all the way across.
