Does anyone know how to do this detail in softplan? I was thinking of using the soldier window trim, but would then need a stone trim texture? I tried making the soldier textures wider, but it didn't seem to work.

Are you looking to save as a Softplan line drawing or for 3D?
The width of the soldier or rowlock is controlled in the Drawing Options>Material Dimensions>Material Options. You can adjust tehre as long as you don't have brick somewhere else on tthe plan that this will affect.

For precast contours or quoins in 3D, I use the texture of a concrete block to have atextured effect with joints and adjust size as needed(only draw back is you can't control the exact joint locations). Know, that will work for straight pieces but would need something else for arches.

I was able to get pretty close by adjusting the brick size in material options. Thanks for the ideas.
It would be nice to be able to adjust the brick size for each opening trim without changing the entire drawing. This time it will work ok, since the remainder of the drawing is all stone, but if it were brick i'm not sure how to do that.

Agreed ... EVERY setting should be able to be over-riden for custom objects, openings, trim etc.

Very nice looking elevation Brad. What grass and driveway textures did you use?

Nice work Brad! Few examples of stone i'm showing in the foreground were symbols I painfully created using the elevations to create 3d stones then copy as them & mirror them, when complete i exported to .3ds then imported to symbol wizard. Getting something like this in SP programming would be near to impossible IMO.
No the stone symbols are NOT meant for the house in the background....just my current project in the back.
Again nice render Brad!

I typically creat things like that in SketchUp and import. It goes pretty quick, especially if you can use the SP model and trace the openings or have good dimensions. I had one job where they wanted stucco arches over all the openings (which were square windows and doors). Once I figured out the formula building the trim in SketchUp was much quicker. But, I also tried some with a custom pediment symbol. That was a lot of trial and error.
