I received my softplan 2014 last November and now they are about to release a new version. I am looking forward as well to using softplan 2016. I so far from using Softplan I love it. It is so easy to use and I love the powerful rendering engine. I wonder what they have up their sleeves this time for 2016. I cant wait to find out more.

I am looking forward to seeing the upgrade and have all my fingers crossed for the improvements we've hoped and begged for. They have always been responsive in past upgrades, so I bet we will see some great additions and improvements.
And, I rely on Randy's posts to get me through the day. They are inspiring and helpful - the closest thing to the "easy button" we have.

Randy's posts just might be why they had to redesign the forum? Kind of like PSY breaking youtube, Y2K bug...etc. The old forum just might have imploded when Randy reached 50,000. Thanks to Softplan for fixing things before it became a problem!!!!

I have been using SoftPlan for the last 12 years and every new version they come out with has been great. When I bumped up to SoftPlan 2014+ I was like wow! So I am very excited to see the 2016!

That would be me. I have it up and running on my Macbook Pro and Surface Pro 3. Both are running brilliantly. I'm just now starting to work with it, but will report back. So far, I've already been impressed with the automatic labeling on master plan sets. Now, set the template and drag the page in and it labels the name and scale automatically. Very nice! I'm working on finishing a conceptual plan set to construction drawings, so this is a great time to dig in.
