Extend Line command on shapes and symbols

In previous Softplan versions, the command Extend Line only applied to shapes and lines. In 2024, it now extends everything from symbols to elevation openings. 

While it is a neat feature, is there a way to make "Extend" only apply to shapes and lines as it was previously? I find myself extending way more objects unintentionally now.

Not that I know of however it is important to uncheck "attach" before you invoke the command

It is not a global change but after selecting the extend command you can use ctl + L keys to then select shapes / lines.

I NEVER ever use the extend command ... Although it seems counter intuitive, I always use TRIM to extend lines!

It is funny how they both work the same essentially, but are two different tools.
