I'm wanting to get an accurate length count on shelves.          I don't see a length for them.

what's the secret.

I'm going to try and get more into softlist and start fine tuning it, so will probably be asking a few questions.

Look at the formula for the shelf takeoff. You will need to set it up whether you want lineal feet of shelves or square foot.

Have you watched the whole series of videos in the program on softlist yet. I think that would be a good place to start if you want to get going with softlist.

I have regular formula for shelves going, my problem was not recognizing there was a standard shelf and a wire shelf.

My current riddle is how to get a length count on stacked shelves.

OK I couldn't find the Softlist help book, I see it is at end of book.

Thanks  David

Wasn't enough on Rods and shelves to help.

I now have a nice count for Rods and a separate count on shelfs, and each broken out and to wire or standard (wood) shelf, plus the rods broken out the same.

Still searching for a way that when you use more than one stack, it will Softlist all of them.

for now I'm drawing in shelves on top of each other, that works.
