On this converting lines to walls, can you select individual lines to change to walls, seems when i do it from a DWG, it wants to change all lines to walls of it's picking

What you can easily do once imported dwg as shapes/lines is go to the Tools menu and you will see an option 'Convert Shape to Wall'. This will allow you to individually select existing or imported lines as walls. I believe the wall is converted on their centerline however once converted to a wall, it is easy to make adjustments to the dimensions.

The wall that is created uses the Trace Line Position setting from the wall's definition to establish the location.

I see my main problem was i was trying to use  under "EDIT"  the Convert LineS to walls, and it would trun every line on drawing to a wall.

I believe now I have used under "TOOLS" Convert Shape to walls- I can select a line that is playing a wall on the DWG and just that line will change to a wall.

Got it

If the source of the shapes is a DWG file you can use the File > Import > DWG/DXF Wizard.
