You are still in site plan mode aren't you?

You should be able to move the building outline with either block move or just move. The outline should move as one item.

If it still doesn't, try saving, and exiting and restarting Softplan. See if that make a difference.

Keith, thanks

yes i am in site plan mode

the walls do not move just symbols and each property outline separately

restart makes no difference (soft plan and hardware)

i did a copy from main floor (walls are on default layer)

saved as siteplan.spd like any other storey

and drawn the Surveyors Coordinates around the building outline

block move works in mainfloor, basement, etc. but not in siteplan

i am really confused

have you tried going into drawing mode, turning on site plan visible and moving block that way?

Stefan, are you saying that  the "building outline" are walls copied from main floor plan, or is it a building outline? Personally, I would never copy a plan to site plan (although I assume it should work) - I always go to site plan mode on my foundation plan and GENERATE BUILDING OUTLINE that open a new plan that you can save as a site plan. It also DOUBLES the workspace limit horizontally and vertically for the Site Plan.

If they are walls, then they won't move on the Site Plan, only in drawing mode.

yes, you are right i did a copy from main floor to site plan and that could be the wrong way

i never before drew a site plan in SP2014

in SP guide and help menu i could not find instructions how to create

a site plan from scratch

thanks, i will try your method to create a site plan
