I am trying to enter surveyors coordinates

for a rectangle or trapezoid property i do not have any problems

but for a property with one property line as an arc i can not

get the polygon closed.

the surveyors plan on 4 lines shows angles and lengths in metres

the arc line is  a=32.674 (m), r=111.000 (m)

Add Site line menu in Soft plan requires an angle (?)

how can i get the polygon correct closed

see attached picture for lot 50

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Normally surveyors plan also show a chord length for the arc.

I'd close it with a straight line between the known points (just sketch the unknown line rather than try and add surveyors coordinates), and then edit the deflection so that it has a 111m radius. It should be close enough. In my experience, surveyors plans NEVER close exactly anyway.

it might be you need to use the arc chord which is a straight line, looks like the measurement you have is the distance(radius) of the arc.

Mine always match up and join when the surveyors stuff is used and chord measurement is used for the length,

Guess the 32+ length you have should be in the Arc length spot

thanks to all of you

i tried as you posted but the polygon did not close

the property area normally switches to a light color when the corners matching

exactly

but i found a tricky way to get it done:

with cursor snap i drew circles with centre on each of the 5 corners,

erased the 5 outlines and with sketching and connecting all

5 circles the area closed and became colored.

I do not why but it worked.
