This is somewhat odd.  I was putting symbols in a drawing and after setting up a Multi drawing with title block some of my symbols were not showing.  Found out that the "Visible in all modes" was unchecked.  By default I believe it should always stay on but somehow in this file it gets turned off as standard.  Not sure where I can look do to so I can fix it what will keep me from happening again.

Tom is it possible your Title Block or whatever is the base file you enable to do a Multi thgat some of the symbols are not checked as visible in that drawing, in other words Visible in All Modes is checked on both

the base drawing and the drawings being brought into the Multi ?

No.  Good thought though Jim.  Some of the items are actually speed notes and they are not in the base drawing.  At least not that I can tell.  The drawings are actually third party that I am doing modifications on so there might be some hidden items on other layers or building options that I am not seeing.
