 can I run version 2012 on a win 10 or 11?

I'm told if I upgrade to win 11 and a new machine, SP 2012 might not run?

I'm old as dirt and may retire in the next year or two but my computer is getting even older.

I've been feeling "if it works dont fix it"

Running Win 7 pro just fine. don't laugh.

I currently have a 3.6Ghz intel i7 4790 with 16 gig ram and the HD's are getting full.

Still running fine, but surely I'm on borrowed time with this machine.

I did try and install on a win 10 laptop and I couldn't make it run so it might be true, but maybe I didn't do it right.

I have hundreds of jobs over several decades that occasionally come back for remodelling.

I could update to the latest SP but at this stage it seems a waste. I just want to hang in for a bit longer.

Sounds like you answered your own question here??

Have you considered contacting SP and asking them?

Thanks, I guess that's the answer. I expect them to say "just update your software."
