Has anyone had any luck creating a painted brick texture (with clor) for renderings?  When I chage the color of the bricks, they become monotone - and not a good look.

What color do you need them to be painted Edward?

Sam - Is that texture in the SP pallate?  Or did you import it?

I was able to get a good (enought) result by simply change the color of the brick.  See two attached before and after photos.

Its one I downloaded somewhere.  if you search for "seamless" textures...you'll find a lot out there for free

My go to site:  www.sketchuptextureclub.com  (link does not work so copy and paste)   For SP download lower size typically and usually free.

Neither of those links work, Fred.

Should work now with a copy and past.  Open textures>Architecture (or whatever)
