I am no longer active in architectural design, but still would like to be able to use SP for small personal projects . I have stopped my subscription which downgraded me to V14. Of course SP no longer has a downloadable version 14. Any ideas on how/where to get this version?

For the sake of clarity, do you mean V14 (2008) or Softplan 14 (2013) ?

 

If Softplan 14 do you recall downloading to install?

 

I ask because I believe Softplan sent out (2) Disks and didn't offer a downloadable exe., and only pathch(s) via download. (I could be wrong)

 

Regardless, perhaps you have the disks they sent?

 

Do you have a disk drive, if no you may need an external device to load from disk?

 

Also, your success may also depend on what operating system you are currently running. (Windows 11 compatible?)

 

Lastly, if you have a "micro" key you may have a backward compatibility issue there too. (Limited to SP2018)

John, I have the Softplan 2014 disks.  One is 2014, and the other is Roof Training.  I installed it on my computer last fall.  You may need to buy a disk player if your computer does not have one.  Around $39 at Best Buy.

I have disks for both Version 14 and 2014.

 

If you want to send me a PM with your email address, I'll try to burn an ISO file of the relevant disk - please confirm version - and send it to you.

Thx all. Turns out SP will send me the V14 discs. Dont know why they didnt tell me that originally but Im good

Nice to know they look after you when you cancel your subscription.
