I have SoftPlan 12. I send jobs by email to a blueprinter who prints and delivers to me. Recently some of the symbols like commodes, closet shelves, decks etc. on the floor plan show up solid black. What am I not doing right to cause this? (This does not happen on my 11"x17" printer.)

Uncheck in "Visible Items" the "Paint In Symbols"

Look in "Drawing Options" and see if the symbol paint box is checked.

If so uncheck it.

Also look in System Options and make sure that unchecked is your default.

I have a polygon that I made white, but it keeps printing out as black. It isn't the same issue as above so the checkbox isn't what my issue is. Can anyone help?

It's not the colour of the polygon, but the pen it's set to print with that controls its print colour. Check the pen and the opacity settings.
