There has been some discussion on keyboard shortcuts in previous topics and I also find that using keyboard shortcuts is the fastest way to draw. There are numerous ones that I have been using for awhile, but yesterday I got to thinking that I could speed things up more if I would organize them better and put forth effort to learn as many as possible. The attached list is my current list. I don't expect to ever learn them all, and some of the functions I haven't even got into using in my drawing. Some of you likely have a better arrangement.

The shortcuts using Ctrl, Alt, & Shift will probably work best if you have a mouse programmed with those functions. I use an Evoluent vertical mouse and for interest sake I also posted the way I have it set up.

Mine are slightly different, as without reference to Softplan, I decided what was most obvious to me, on the grounds that I could remember them more easily that way. For example I have SINGLE EXTENSION on E where Softplan has ERASE, and I have ERASE on X where Softplan has SINGLE EXTENSION. My reasoning ... "X" reminds me of delete much more than anything else. I also have extend/trim on "K" as it reminds me of    |<------ .... and Change cursor angle on "Y" for X-Y axis ... etc. etc. I know, my mind works in a mysterious way!

There are 10 types of people in this world ....... Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
